The Hwarang begin their grueling training under strict discipline. Swordplay, loyalty drills, and forced cohabitation bring out the worst—and best—in the recruits. Moo-myung and Sam Maek-jong continuously butt heads, unaware they’re both hiding huge secrets. Ah-ro finds herself drawn to Moo-myung but conflicted by his false identity as her brother. Meanwhile, Sam Maek-jong battles resentment—toward his mother’s secrecy, the burden of his throne, and his growing affection for Ah-ro. Jealousy, suspicion, and tension fill the air as the Hwarang learn that swords are not their only weapons—loyalty, friendship, and love will test them just as fiercely.
