Joon-jae’s dreams grow more vivid and haunting. He sees himself in a different time, wearing traditional robes, standing on a beach beside a mermaid who looks just like Chung. The love in those visions is undeniable—but so is the heartbreak that follows. He wakes up shaken, unsure whether the images are memories, fantasies, or something more. Meanwhile, Chung notices his growing distance and wonders if the truth is slipping through despite her silence. When they visit an aquarium together, she’s visibly moved by the sea creatures—especially those trapped behind glass. Joon-jae sees her cry for the first time, not understanding that she sees herself in their isolation. As they sit under a city-lit sky, he asks, “Who are you really?” And though she doesn’t answer, her eyes speak of a lifetime once lived and a love that never really ended. The past and present are beginning to collide—and neither of them is ready for what’s coming next.
