Joon-jae returns to the city, burying himself in work while secretly following leads that might bring him back to Sim Chung. One day, he hears a story from a child about a “lady who swims like a fish” saving someone in the river. His heart skips a beat. He rushes to the scene, but finds nothing—only ripples left behind. Meanwhile, Sim Chung roams the hidden corners of Seoul, torn between revealing herself and keeping Joon-jae safe from further harm. She sees him from afar, hears him laugh, watches him mourn. Each step closer puts her heart at risk, but she can’t stay away. The ocean still calls to her, but love anchors her feet to the land. In the background, Ma Dae-young recovers in secret, his hatred still boiling.
