After a suspicious break-in at Leng Ye’s penthouse, Su Jing Jing insists on staying close to him for protection. Much to his annoyance—and hidden delight—this means she moves in temporarily. The once cold mansion becomes a battleground of awkward dinners, accidental eye contact, and flirty fights. Leng Ye, used to silence and order, finds her energy chaotic but oddly comforting. She cooks, dances around the living room, and even defends him during a surprise attack. Their bond begins to shift—he notices her kindness in the small things, and she starts seeing his loneliness beneath the cold exterior. A drunken moment nearly leads to a confession, but both retreat before crossing the line. Their hearts draw closer, even as they pretend nothing has changed. But deep down, both know it has.
