At first, she’s delighted. Then, as emotions flood in—gratitude, guilt, joy, and overwhelming love—her systems begin to glitch. Her hands shake, her speech stutters, and her powers spike. She collapses briefly, emitting a bright pulse of energy. The doctors rush in, but Fang Leng stays by her side.
