Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Jenkins began his arts career early, training as a classical ballet dancer at Canton Ballet under a full scholarship. He then performed professionally with the Duluth Ballet in Minnesota and the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City.

Career Highlights

Jenkins launched his professional career in ballet before transitioning to musical theatre, films, TV and voice‑over. Notably, he originated the role of Barry Belson in the West End and Broadway productions of Jersey Boys, and lent his voice as Ubercorn in the popular UK‑produced children’s series Go Jetters. He’s appeared on TV in shows such as How to Get Away with Murder, Shooter, General Hospital, and Wednesday (as Mayor Walker), alongside roles in Pandora (as Ellison Pevney).
