Erika "Riki" Lindhome (b. March 5, 1979) is an American actress, comedian, singer-songwriter, and musician. Raised in Portville, New York, she earned a communications and film degree from Syracuse University in 2000, where she performed with the Syracuse Live sketch comedy troupe. She began her career with bit parts on Titus and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002), followed by guest spots on Gilmore Girls, House, The Big Bang Theory, and United States of Tara. She co-founded the folk-comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates (with Kate Micucci) in 2007, which has garnered considerable viral success and industry recognition.

Career highlights:

Lindhome’s breakthrough came with her role in Tim Robbins’s play Embedded, leading to her feature film debut as Mardell Fitzgerald in Million Dollar Baby (2004), directed by Clint Eastwood. She went on to star in films like Hell Baby (2013), Much Ado About Nothing (2012), The Lego Batman Movie (voice, 2017), Knives Out (2019), The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020), and Afraid (2024). On TV, she co-created and starred in Another Period (2015–18) and played Dr. Valerie Kinbott on Netflix’s Wednesday in 2022. Musically, her duo was Emmy‑nominated in 2016, and she released her solo comedy album No Worries If Not in 2025.
