Onew, born Lee Jin-ki, is a South Korean singer, actor, and musical performer best known as the leader and main vocalist of the K-pop group SHINee. He studied Broadcasting Music at Chungwoon University and began training under SM Entertainment in 2006. Known for his gentle voice and warm persona, Onew transitioned into acting with success in both musicals and dramas. His educational and performing arts background has contributed to his versatile talents on stage and screen.

Onew made his acting debut in the musical Brothers Were Brave (2010) and gradually expanded into television.
