He was born and raised in Canada and studied Fine Arts and Design at Sheridan College, later attending FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) in the U.S. Jasper initially pursued a career in art and design before transitioning into acting and modeling. His fluent English and Korean, along with his multicultural background, have allowed him to play unique roles in Korean television.
