Later, he earned a postgraduate acting degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (2022).

Calum's early theatrical credits include roles in Yen, Half Full, Quad, Richard III, Violence & Son—showcasing his range across classical and contemporary plays. In 2022, he landed his breakout role as Rowan Laslow in Netflix’s hit series Wednesday, filmed in Romania. Rowan, a telekinetic Nevermore student, appeared across four episodes. It marked his first major professional screen performance and introduced him internationally.
